i was talking about using the sea eagle on the back waters, like in teh lakes, etc...sorry if i did not make that clear...Ill use my 10 hp to take me across the yukon in a flat bottom...then go up one of the smaller rivers, sloughs, into one of the lakes....then put the sea eagle in...just wondering on the setup there in teh woods there off of the river....yeah, i know, the sea  eagle is not the greatest thingin the world..but, it's free....

so, guess my question is, how far can you usually get a 14 ft flat bottom with a 10 hp up the smaller rivers off the yukon in the nulato area if you know....then, is it feasible to take the sea eagle further up when i can't get the flatbottom up any more...???

thanks for the help...

oh, gold mines...i read somewhere that there were two closed down gold mines in the nulato/innoko area.....that was on one of the prospecting sites....just wondering if anyone knew that area very well to tell me about these mines/location...adn about the layout of the back rivers/lakes off the yukon..holler if you know anyting specifically about this area...

thanks
