PWS report
Posted by AkHunter45 on May 02 2005
Left Whittier early Saturday morning, well as early as the tunnel opens, and it took is 3 hours slowly cruising the shoreline to get to Harrison Lagoon. Glassed for bears the entire way in without seeing any but we did see a few dens and quite a few tracks high in the mountains. Also trolled for kings using herring and a flasher with no luck but the trip was a success anyways. The weather was great and water was like glass. Once the lagoon filled with water we were able to park the boat within 50 ft of the cabin and enjoyed the day glassing the surrounding mountains and water for wildlife. Another stellar weekend in Alaska!!
