Orca tales

About ten years ago I saw an orca all the way up by the salt chuck in Eaglek Bay. It was low tide, the grass was laying down on top the water, and we were putting up to the shore to make a beach assault, and PWWWHOOOSSSHHHH, I just about jumped out of my skin to see a huge orca break the surface and blow about 10 feet from the boat. Just about gave me a heart attack.
It was the second most damdest thing I've ever seen in the Sound.
I've seen Whitesides and Dall's porpoise as well, but really don't recall seeing many orcas. I did stumble across an orca skull on the beach one time.
