[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] Orcas in PWS Posted by B_M on Apr 06 2005 I have commercially fished out there for a long time, and have yet to notice a particular time that is better than others for spotting Orcas. We see them from April through September in various areas of the Sound. There's not too much of a pattern...you just have to keep your eyes open. That being said, we do see them more often further south in the Sound. I have seen them as close in as the mouth of Passage Canal and a number of times along the outside of Culross Island, but more often I spot them around Knight Island and other islands further out.
