This is the option plan for those who don't want to bother moving your loading ramp from the back to the "V" nose of your trailer. Not included in basic snowmobile plans but can be added to your single or double axle "V"-nose snowmobile trailer plans order. Sample paragraph Step 3. Cut four pieces of 2"x3"x3/16" angle1 ˝" wide for the ramp hinges. Drill a 3/8" hole approx. 1" in from the 3" end on each hinge. The 2" side will be later welded to the front rail. Bolt the hinges to the insides of the ramp finger tight and then set the ramp against the frame clamping the hinges. As your frame is elevated on blocks, you will need to temporarily block up the bottom of the ramp to approximate the 27" deck height when on the ground. I found that placing the top of the hinge 1" down from the top of the rail and 2 ˝" in from the edge worked great. The flush side that you will be attaching a rock guard to should be the down side. Now do the same for the second ramp if not done already.
