Moose are a common sight on Interior lakes
in the summertime. This cow wasn't concerned about our
presence. She would have been more protective had she been with a
calf.
|
|
Easy Does It Charters provides a great meal during the middle of the
day. This one featured pike and halibut in a screened-in kitchen.
|
|
Not a huge specimen of the
pike tribe, but fun to catch nonetheless.
Smaller pike are gently
returned to the lake so they can grow some more.

|
Easy Does It Charters has overnight accommodations
available for multi-day trips, like this warm, dry cabin with
wood heat.

|
Getting in to the Easy Does It
fishing camp involves a wild ride on the glacial Tanana River and the
incredibly winding a not-for-the-faint-hearted creek. The view of the
Alaska Range is exceptional on nice days.

Easy Does It Charters Assistant guide Lloyd Maggard with two
clients. The lake is big enough to move around quite a bit. If
the fishing is slow in one area, you can always move to another.
