Another new Internet product the agency offers is online access to the hunting and trapping regulations.

Northern Publishing provides a growing list of publications for the Alaska Outdoors.  Titles include Alaska Wear:  The Visitor's Guide to Clothing & Gear, Sheep Hunting in Alaska:  The Dall Sheep Hunter's Guide, The Manual for Successful Hunters:  Why 10% of the Hunters take 90% of the Game and others.

US Forest Service cabins may be rented for a small fee. They must be reserved in advance. Most are located on lakes or on protected bays or inlets.

The Alaska State Parks system also maintains public use cabins in Alaska. These are scattered throughout the state.
