Penn reels. The self guided boat is a 20 foot Hewescraft with downriggers

Southeast
Alaska -- the "panhandle" -- is one of Alaska's crown jewels. It is a
productive environment for a wide variety of fish and wildlife, and scenic as well.
"Southeast", as it is called in Alaska, is well known for its wet weather, but
this wetness is related to its productivity. The warm waters of the Pacific
well up
off the coast bringing nutrients for marine life. The precipitation makes fish
streams--many of them. The result is deep sea fishing that is, in a word, excellent.
