Southcentral
Alaska is Alaska one of the state's most productive regions for fish and
wildlife. Prince William Sound, Cook Inlet, the Kodiak Archipelago, Bristol Bay and
the Alaska Peninsula all boast well-known fisheries. As elsewhere on the Alaska
coast, the weather tends toward moist, but can at times be quite pleasant in the summer
months. The fishing here is quite good.
