Our moose camps are located in the fall breeding valleys or in their fall migration routes.  Most of the hunting can be done within one mile of camp. This really helps to make packing the meat back to camp much easier.

Supercub on tundra tires - getting out to where the moose are....Some of the camps are located on gravel river bars, while others are on ridge tops.  In this unit state law requires a minimum antler spread of 50-inches or four (4) brow tines for non-residents. Residents can take a bull with a spike-fork, 50-inch antler spread, or three (3) brow tines. Our season runs from September 1st to September 25th in this area. Our higher camps are better later in the season, with the lower camps producing the best at the beginning of the season.

The moose hunting areas have a healthy population of grizzly bears. We can arrange a guided hunt for nonresident hunters, if an interior grizzly is on your mind.
