All the areas Gardner Hunting operates in provide good to excellent opportunities for Grizzly bear. The populations are concentrated in certain areas and the camps for our guided hunts are in these areas. The guided hunt will involve traveling to and from the field by Super Cub, then traveling by 4-wheelers or river boats depending on where the bears are being seen. The fall season for our best area begins August 10th, one of the earliest in the state. This is in conjunction with the caribou season and offers a unique hunting opportunity for this time of the year. While you're out after grizzly bears odds are high that you'll see black bears in the area too. You should consider a mixed bag on these hunts. |
