Gardner Hunting has a dedicated professional staff which will work hard to provide you with a rewarding outdoor adventure.  Registered Guide, Richard Gardner and his assistant guides have many years experience hunting in Alaska.  Richard Gardner has 14 years experience as a big game guide in Alaska and 14 more years of personal hunting experience in Alaska.  He has lived and hunted in Interior Alaska since 1984.  Richard is an experienced outdoorsman whose every occupation, from trapping in the winter to supplying forest firefighters in the summer, relies on his tremendous outdoor skills. His abilities as a trapper were featured in the Feb. 2005 issue of "Outdoor Life".  His assistant guides are also experienced outdoorsmen.  Most are Alaska residents from the area.

The hunting area includes the beautiful, seldom traveled headwaters of the Goodpaster River and its drainages.  The hunting  area to the south of Delta Junction includes the stunning and rugged Granite Mountains in the Alaska Range .  The remoteness of the hunting camps means less hunting pressure and a greater wildlife population.

The weather in Interior Alaska is usually the best in the state during hunting season.  But being that this is Alaska, you should be prepared for the worst, just in case.
