Lockwood Lake
Posted by Landon M. Wells on May 25 2006
Gents, I freighted in 21000 lbs of cabin to Lockwood Lake 2nd week of April 06. The creek trail you spoke of is difficult unless you have a saw with you. You can keep going up the yetna and just before you reach Yetna station you will see a trail coming out of the woods to your right, just after the grey? cabin on the river bank,  follow it and stay to the right at the bottom of the hill side it will get you up top side. From there it is easy going to the lake just follow the swamps to the northeast and look for reflectors in the trees to mark trails between swamps. I am unsure about the trail during the summer.
