Winches
Posted by AK Bearcat on Apr 15 2006
Our family has purchased several 4 wheelers over the yers and we had the winches installed with the purchase.  Everyone one of them was removed and reinstalled once the machines got home.  In my way of thinking I would let the people who do this all the time installed the winches instead of me trying to figure where everything goes.  My issue has always been them leaving wires too long, not tie wrapping them enough nor them using spirel wrap to protect the wire.  That is not the fault of the dealers, they are there to make a little profit.  It is just I can take a little more time back at home to 'clean up' the installation.
Like it has been said, it is not that hard, just takes a little time and a few tools.
