HELP! my honda fourtrax HELP!

I have an old four wheeler (and a king quad 700) that just sits behind my house under the deck...It ran last summer. Now it wont start unless i use the kick and it takes forever to start the thing. BUT when it did start last year...It would over heat....and it's air cooled so i dont know what to do about that. It would get extreme knocking noise and grey smoke would pour from it...The engine was rebuilt not too long ago. But I spent 2000 on it and got screwed I'm wondering if any1 would help me rebuild the motor....or knows some1 who will do it...Or some1 wants to buy it and rebuild it but i really need some help on this one!
