Tires
Posted by AK4EVER on Aug 15 2005
As long as the diameter (25 or 26") is the same for all 4 tires it won't be a problem.  Some of the smaller wheelers like the Suzuki LT250 I used to have had smaller diameter tires in the front and larger in the rear as well as being narrower in the front.  When the tire diameter is different then there has to be some gear reduction for the larger tires to turn at the same rate otherwise the taller tires would be turning faster than the shorter ones.  You also need to think about steering pressure if you go with a wider tire in the front.  Wide tires turn pretty hard and you may not enjoy having to fight it in the woods.
