Auto
Posted by Terry Sacora on Aug 06 2005
I have had 3 quads over the years and I like the auto best. I have a Grizzly 660 and an Arctic Cat 500 auto now and just sold a Kawasaki 400 manual a couple of months ago. Shifting is no big deal but the auto is nice when you get into an unexpected situation such as a hill being steeper than you thought while pulling a trailer etc.

The autos do use more gas than the shift models which is a consideration a lot of times.
