Trail
Posted by Snowwolfe on Jul 15 2005
I have not been on the road in a few years but last time I was the same gate was at the end. Its for a guided camp. I was told the guide has illegally closed access to the public BLM trail. I do know when we tried to go past it someone came out and said it was closed. I was very persistent and kept on asking the person if they had the right to keep us off the trail. He evaded my questions and never once would admit we would be tresspassing. I then asked him point blank to open the gate so we could procede on ATV's. He opened the gate. Not sure if anything has changed but when we were there it was just illegal pressure to stop people from going further. Call BLM.
