Throttle's Stuck!!!

Throttles Stuck!!!
Remember when... Back in High school!
Had this happen on an old Yamaha.
Trilled to have topped off a cluster of aged, classic glass apple cider jugs w/ petro -
Out between the Maple, evergreens, beach trees, barns, and abandoned sugarhouses we hoofed it.
We poured 'er in and went to start the ol' sled up... My buddy just could not get 'er to kick over.
We had taken the sled so many times in the wee hours of darkness from the Ski Academy that they gave in and handed us over the machine... reckoning they'd leave it to a Canadian and Alaskan to lay some tracks after school, ski training, and of course us escaping homework!
After a 4-8 mile run a dawn, school ˝ a day, and training the other ˝ so hard that afternoon, then freighting/lugging the cider jugs - we were pretty spent... and by god that sled was going to take us into the New England small-town candy store through the secret passage in the woods for the banned junk food we craved.
The string of the pull start was now tethered to my grasp and the swearing with colorful compounded metaphors began to flow (gave the impression to giving better power and energy to the muscles and had a self-entertaining glow to the tedious task of getting the damned snowmobile to spark... My buddy a better mechanic than I was troubleshooting across the opposite side of the torn seat.
Abruptly! With a wide-open roar stood nothing in-between us as we watched the sled go on a lightning express ghost ride across the field. We on looked like panicky boys before shattering a window with an arrant toss as the snowmachine disappeared revved to the max then crashing into the woodlands.
Well… thank the cushioning bows of the evergreens the snowmachine was not wounded too terribly – the throttle was no longer jammed, and following a sequential breeching the branches and we were off on our nights venture.
