I'm not an expert by any means but 400:600 dollars with a scope sounds a bit like a dream.I'm a canadian (if it matters) I just purchased a 300 win mag (sako maodel 75) a beautiful gun, I bought the gun for 1000 even c/w a leupold 2x7 scope, my answer is sometimes you get what you pay for so be careful, I shot a winchester 300 win mag and it nearly through my shoulder out, this sako is like shooting a 30-06 Good luck
