I had no idea such an action existed. I searched for their web-site, and found it very interesting. The actions are expensive, although I think they are probably worth the price. I suspect the stock would have to be completely custom too, and the finished rifle would be pretty spendy.

I'll be thinking about this one. Maybe I can sell some of my projects, and get one of those beauties.

I can already see a problem though. I don't think I could stand the suspense of having a gunsmith alter the action in any way to make it feed any cartridge which didn't work well right out of the box.

If I wanted to get serious about it, I would call the importer, and ask the question of whether they would set it up from the factory to feed the 404 size case, the Dakota specifically.
