I've also been looking at getting one of the larger magnums in 375 H&H and like you, my budget is a little on the tight side. Someone on here a few weeks back told me about the new Remingtons, specifically, the 798 which is based on the old mauser 98. I don't know if they will make them in left hand but it's worth a look, they are suppose to be out sometime in June according to the e-mail i recieved from them.
