There's one brand spanking new with the hanging tags still on it locally in .444 Marlin, and next to it is a 9410, in .410 bore.  There's also a .45 Colt, .44 mag, and .357 Trapper sitting there.
I've seen them in .25-35,7 Waters,.32 Special, .32-40,.38-55, .375 Winchester, .307 Win, and .356 Win.
If a toss up between .30-30 and .44, I'd personally have to go with the .30-30. If you need a lever .44, take a look at the Marlin.  More compact action, and can be scoped (of dubious value on a .44)...
If you're looking for an investment, get 'em both!
