[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] 200 Posted by AlleninAlaska on Mar 26 2006 I'd go with a 200 grain Nosler Partition and never look back as an all purpose load. If I was loading for a specific animal, I'd start with a Swift Scirocco in the 150 grain weight for Caribou and such, 165 Partition or Swift A-Frame for Black Bear and 180 grain Nosler Partition or Swift A-Frame for Moose. I load my 300 RUM with the 150 Swift Scirocco for Caribou and that bullet will completely penetrate Caribou all the way out too 462 yards so far.
