reloading gear
Posted by mauserboy on Mar 24 2006
For that amount of money you should look at Lee reloading gear. For the money, their single stage presses, scales, etc. are an excellent deal for the price. They have kits set up with all the basics. I'd check them out on midwayusa.com. Lee Precision demands that dealers buy a large amount of product from them so many dealers here in AK don't carry them. I've been using their stuff for years. I would rather use an RCBS powder measure for greater accuracy and capacity. Be sure and get several good reloading manuals and if you haven't done any reloading, get a book on basic reloading and read it before doing any actual reloading. After that, if you know someone who has reloaded for a while and does it right, that would be good. Reading the reloading book will tell you if the person you pick to help you really knows his stuff. An old mechanic I used to work with once told me that just because somebody has been doing the work for 20 years may only mean he's been making the same mistakes for those 20 years. Hope this helps.
