Warne and Talley??
Posted by GaryVA on Mar 21 2006
I don't believe that Talley ever made ringmounts to fit the Ruger mkII.

Warne ringmounts have/had the levers on the same side as the bolt handle and loading port. They may have changed, but I do not like that.

LEU makes solid ringmounts but you must have a torx key. On one of my rifles I keep it duct taped to the scope tube.

There is nothing wrong w/ Ruger ringmounts. They are the lowest available and can be removed and replaced easily. Replacing the screw knobs w/ levers is easily done. I just fit a set of levers on a low ringmount set for a 338WM and am headed to the range to test repeatability.
