Gotta go with a-b-m on this one. The Federal with 300 Nosler Partition is hard to beat in a factory load. Since it seems anecdotes are the rule for getting points across, although they may or may not prove anything, I've seen the 300 Partition in factory ammo outperform the so-called penetrating 45 cal "stoppers" on very large brown bears.
