I have not seen the Model 85 Sako's but from what I can tell they improve, in a minor way on the Model 75.  I am very anxious to get hold of the 338 Federal.  I promise to buy the very first one my wife will let me have. I could evaluate the Model 85 and the 338 Federal at the same time.  I have dies and formed Lapua brass for the 338-308, I hope it is the same dimensions or at least close enough that I can use my brass.  I owned a custom for a while and liked it a lot.  It is a very good idea for a short action hunting round.  A little more punch with very little more recoil.  Almost like a free lunch, or maybe a discount lunch.  Good shootin'.
