Hey Snowwolfe,

You say the 45/70 in a winchester, how about the Marlin 1895XLR?  It is a 45/70.  It is also stainless steel to boot.  That really appeals to me for weatherproofness.  It also has laminated stock....it is really sharp looking!  Thanks for the time.  Check out this link to see the Marlin XLRs!
