Is anyone familiar with a better one? 2-I searched the archives and only found a couple of posts on pads but lots of posts on recoil. Interesting thought. My Tikka Stock has some hollow area behind the recoil pad. Will filling this void with some survival gear or extra ammo padded in foam help with recoil. I carry a multi tool with a phillips head screwdriver long enough to take off the pad in the bush. I can add between 1.5 and 2 pounds. Am I splitting hairs? Thanks for your thoughts? I have an older Tikka but have my eye on a T3 in .338 Win Mag. Next: Tikka Recoil AlaskaCub Jan 30 2006 Message Thread:
