Barnes recommendation is to use the same data as for the old x bullet with the notation that one can often increase the powder charge from .5 grain to up to maybe 2 grains. This has to be done in consideration of the total case capacity, e.g. a 223 vs 375. If you elect to increase your powder charge above the max recommended for the x bullet you will need to be adept at interrupting/extrapulating pressure changes (usual classic signs of unsafe pressures and/or head case expansion) otherwise one would be well advised to "start low, work up and stick with the manual". Most of Barnes' published loading recommendation are usually on the hot side.
