I may have to include a Mosin Nagant M-44 carbine w/ extended Bayonet.

Very rugged & trustworthy in nasty conditions also super simple.

Lots of ammo. 7.62x54R

Very handy...  Quite fast handling and accurate...

Shot crude open sites today at 5-10 belllow zero w/ light snow and had tennis ball groups (on several 2 & 3 out of 5 holes touching) at 100 using 4 types of ammo - so not picky.

She's plenty a rifle for most anything & for $59 plus has all cleaning equipment w/ her at all times.  

She'll also pitch your tent in a pinch...  
She aint too pretty in fact kinda ugly!
I mean extend the Bayonet - poker 'er in the ground and you have an instant tarp shelter.

I could also spear fish or use the bayonet socket eye to put line through for fishing...  just some thoughts.
