[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] 458 Lott data Posted by Paul H on Jan 26 2006 The ackley has slightly more powder capacity than the 458 Lott, so using Lott data is a good way to go, you'll be down a tad on velocity and pressure, so it is safe data to use, and much easier to come by. You can also use Hornady 458 basic brass to form your hulls. I've found RL 15 and Varget work well in the 458 Lott, though they are compressed, and would likely be better in the slightly larger ackley case.
