[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] Front sight Posted by fremont on Jan 26 2006 The most important part IMO is keeping your focus on the front sight (you have 3 choices: rear sight, front sight or target). Keep the rear & front sights aligned, then any movement in your hands is largely mitigated. Example: If you sights are perfectly aligned and your hands move in a two inch diameter circle, all rounds (within a reasonable distance, like 10-25 yards) will stay within that two inch circle. You get off target when the front & rear sights are not aligned, as the error is magnified the greater the distance to the target.
