Greg,
I have been using Simms Jackets and waders for the last five years and have stayed both dry and warm even in heavy rains. I have used my Simms gear for hunting, fishing, gold panning, and ATV riding and not one time have I had them fail me.
When riding my atv I wear my simms waders and jacket. Even when riding in hard rain and blasting through water I stay dry. I do get wet around the neck and a little water around the cuff.
Just my take on it,
