I just tried one today,Sim's,and I saw no difference so I pulled it off and the gun shoots just fine without it..Had to try it though.I'm sure it could possibly make a difference on some rifles.Pretty ugly on it too.Just a piece of rubber that slides over barrel.Cost about 18 bucks.I have a Weatherby Ultra Light with a fluted barrel'30/06.Shooting Hornady light mag interbond 165gr.
