and it shoots better than I do.  Don't much care for the bright polished metal, and they could've done a bit better job at it, but at $289 I can live with it.  This one, and the boy's .30-06 both have 24 inch barrels.  I think the current production have 22 inchers.  After living with the Butler Creek stock for awhile, I've about decided that it's too big for a toothpick, and not big enough for a good fire........
