My original stock cracked from the tang back and wanted a synthetic and came across them. One thing led to another and next thing you know 6 months later I had mine rebuilt - elecroless nickel, handmade stock, extractor, lever, trigger, sights..all worked over. Made payments throughout the time frame. No regrets. Realized that without proper paper check this had some fliers-down the road. I thinks it to late to send to Marlin as this firearm is worked over customly pretty extensively. I really like the carrying ability this has as well as my other "picked" rifles for any hunting chores that arise. As for the Winchester levers I like my old 94 that is now the Ackley Improved and have no parts problems what so ever accept a round not properly levered and jambs in the loading area of the receiver. A flawed design by Winchester? Previous: Look into the bore Ennis Jul 30 2005 Next: Question Snowwolfe Jul 29 2005 Message Thread:
