Murph,
I had to strongly consider going to this setup as my young eyes are experiencing "blurs" now and again in my peep in dawn or dusk. WWG gave me one only peep and also at one time I did buy and gave to my nephew the XS Ghost sight (front&rear)for his 336.Buy a Past Pad? Sounds pretty whimpy to imagine me wearing somethig like that BUT I know what you're refering to - ouch my shoulder for 2 days felt pretty beat up. You are correct as those loads and others up to 460grain have a bit of a recoil. Yes, I do have a Pro Chrony and I can see what you mean about slight powder changes being less than the standard deviation - so I will up the changes to .5 instead of .1 or .2. Love to reload but am not in the field you're in--maybe later in life when I have more time than money ha. I figure on lapping maybe 5 more rounds and polishing the barrel again to see if I can better my groups before I attempt to down load this round -acceptable? Tweak it alittle bit more?
Snowwolfe,
When you get to know me you'll find I like to converse about those thing that interest me and at times find myself talking out loud but does not necessarily mean I have any questions. But, I did and you obviously missed that.
Thanks Murph - if I ecounter further need of your expertise I'll give you a holler, anyways, take care talk with ya later.
