What happened to them being made in Mexico?  Maybe I"m confusing them though.  I saw one years back and it looked and worked just like a regular mossberg.  

I can say one thing on mossberg vs 870s.  I've seen many shotguns in the geese fields in mud and muck.  The mossbergs have a better record.  Have seen more stuck cases in the 870 than I'd care to. Though I love the feel of the 870s.
