Brown Bear thanks for always trying to help out. I dont' know on function. Havent ordered or tried either.  Used to have a slightly different flat point lead that worked fine.  But not hard cast. Just lead.

The reason I ask is I'd just as soon load up the jacketed ones in a way, but what if the flat point hits the skull or shoulder and the lead squirts out the back.  I guess in reality I dont' care which one it is to order, just would like a guess as to the one thats more reliable.

I suspect I should read into the fact that folks get good results off the hard cast heavy slugs in larger pistols that lead would suffice and maybe be more reliable as a whole than jacketed with an open end.

But I guess I"m just ramblin and wonderin.
