Do you have the standard Tikka mounts?  They marketed some made in Australia some years back but have discontinued, good ones though.
I haven't seen all the latest Tikka mounts, do yours just clamp onto the dove tail or do they screw mount? There are two different Tikka mounts, the Opti-locks are made in Finland and work good but are bulky. Leupold makes a screw down base that will take a standard ring.  Also Millett makes a clamp on Tikka mount and they will not hold anything.  I don't know which you have.  Oh, I guess I should ask does your rifle have screws in the receiver or just the dovetail rail?
