Kimber Customer Service
Posted by bizymocha on Jun 30 2005
Novice,
Glad to hear you were well taken care of at Kimber. You probably aren't going to get a laser straight stock. My Kimber .308 Classic was off to one side but I carefully sanded the offending side and the dollar bill slides just fine. My groups are at 1" at 100 yards. Remember not to heat up the barrel. If you do, you will start to degrade the accuracy. I rotate 3 - 4 rifles at the summer range sessions inorder to keep them cooler. One thing I did three days ago was to setup and identify four targets - one for each rifle. I fired one shot into each target and rotated to another rifle. I did that for 4 rotations and when I was done, I had a three shot group in each target and didn't begin to heat up the barrels. Good luck.
