Hi,
My .02$. Get the Tikka, mine has been great on all my white game hunts and also scrambling after deer on Kodiak. Because all t-3s are long action regardless of caliber I went with the 300 Win mag. Recoil is a non-issue. Remember to select a caliber based on what you might run into vice what you are looking for.
