any experience out there with anyone using 10 gauge slugs? I have here a BPS with a slug bbl. and shooting Federal 766 grain rifled hollow slugs at velocities of 1200fps plus or minus a few feet. I expect to use it as a bear stopper in my camps, being hollow are they effective for the use? I do not know if slugs that have been used in generations past were hollow or otherwise.
