Rem. vs. Tikka
Posted by bizymocha on Jun 17 2005
awwu,
Do yourself a favor and get the Tika T3 Lite in 300WSM. I had two Rem. Ti's in .270win and neither would shoot under 2 MOA. At 200 yards it was downright unethical! I am a handloader and even tried factory ammo to verify the problem. All the T3's I have owned have been real impressive on paper and easy on the budget. Take the extra money and invest it in a good scope but stay away from a scope with magnification over 10 power and a 42mm objective. The only drawback I had with the Tikka was the drop magazine. It was one thing to keep track of and limited my handloads a bit. Get an extra even though they are expensive. Good hunting.
