M70
Posted by TomM on May 09 2005
I called Winchester about the problem, and they told me to take it in to their authorized repair center and tell them it was on winchester. I did just that, and the smith told me it was losse, but nothing wrong, sometimes loose is good. Anyway, VERY IMPRESSED with Winchester customer servive.

As far as how I like the gun, I like it! I have a M70 Classic S/S in 30-06 that is the most consistent, accurate factory rifle Ive ever owned. That, and word of mouth from some expierienced shooters is what made me get the .375. So far Ive only shot it with the open sights which arent bad. I plan to make it to the range this week with the scope mounted. I will post accuracy results. The only thing I have to gripe about is trigger creep. I was able to set the weight for 3 1/2 lbs. but the creep is still there. My two other M70 Classic have good triggers, that only needed minor adjustment.
