Well w/ all the new fuss about Federal's new Fusion - I had to try it top see if it was not all hype.

@ $16 a box!!! I was a bit skeptic, but have high regards for most Federal ammo including the cheaper stuff.

180 grain .308 WIN

So far best group remains .19 @ 100

Average is running (after three runs of 3 shot groups) is right between 3/8" & 7/16"... I have yet to run the calipers and subtract .308" on the third 3 shots @ 100 yards.

Also still looking into overall performance - accuracy was very good... now to see how it works in the field and at greater ranges out past the 100 yard mark.

Interesting... the same gun I was using drives tacks w/ older style Remington Core-Lokt 180 gr. and old school Lake City XM 173 gr case lot from the '60s.  - dislikes Federal High energy loadings!
