I think I can go to a heavier bullet. My 500 is a 4". The bullet is a Cast Performance Bullet Company 370gr 500. The chronograph was borrowed and I can use it when I'm in his neighborhood. I usually use Bear Tooth bullets after a consultation with Marshal, but these were available. I will try some penetration testing on these, but I'm swamped with work and it may be a week or two. Thanks to both of you for getting me back on the ground with this.
