I'm at 1700fps with a 370gr, hard cast, wide, flat nose, gas check bullet. That's a lot more than the .44 I carry now. I could load a heavier bullet at less velocity. 440gr, 405gr, hell someone is even making 650gr bullets for these thing. How about some consultation here, before I get myself in too deep?
